LIGHTING FIXTURES WITH AUXILIARY LAMP
These fixtures are equipped with an auxiliary double-ended
halogen lamp (max 250W R7s 78 mm HDG) which
guarantees a minimum luminous flux available when switching
on from cold or reswitching on of the main discharge lamp
when warm.
The auxiliary halogen lamp is automatically switched on when
the luminous flux of the fixture reaches about 60% of nominal
value.

Power unit running on NiCd batteries for high temperature
(70° C) 3,5 V - 1,8 Ah. Back-up time 1h with recharging of
approx. 30h. Nominal values expressed for an ambient
temperature of approx. 35°C. 7W lamp (TC-E) 2G7 with
approx. 35% of the nominal flux during the emergency
operation.
Every six months, check efficiency of the equipment and
perform a complete discharge, followed by recharging.
Every 4 years substitute the batteries with others of identical
characteristics.
OPERATION - RECHARGING OF BATTERIES
Ensure emergency batter y/inverter are connected to a
permanent unswitched supply.
Correct operation indicated by the red LED being constantly
illuminated. Operation of emergency lamp in the event of
mains power failure irrespective of the luminaire status (ON or
OFF). The emergency inverter incorporates an emergency
inhibition circuit to prevent operation of emergency equipment
during periods when the installation is not active. This can be
activated making a bridge between the terminals 3 and 4.
As required by the specific standards, the circuit allows the
automatic re-establishment of the full mains operation.
