Activation Sensor and Chain Assembly (cont.)
Install or Replace the Batteries
Insert a screwdriver blade into the seam on top of the housing
assembly.
Carefully pry open the battery compartment latch and disengage
the other side of the latch from the hinges.
Install two D-size batteries into the compartment.
Snap the latch back into place.
Adjust the Chain Assembly
Move the S-hook up or down on the chain link as needed to
achieve the desired chain slack. For a proper flush, ensure that
enough chain slack remains for the cam to rotate and open the
flapper completely.
Make additional adjustments by loosening the screws on the back
of the mounting bracket. Raise or lower the mounting bracket to
adjust the chain slack.
If you adjust the mounting bracket, make sure adequate clearance
exists between the housing assembly, flush valve, tank walls, and
tank cover.
