A2 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
A2.1 Periodic maintenance
Warning! Before carrying out any intervention on the pump other than refill operation, place
the pump in by-pass position.
Warning! If maintenance requires disassembly of the equipment, parts which come in
contact with drinking water must be handled with care from hygienic point to avoid
contamination of the hydraulic system. Use suitable disposable gloves. Any tools used must
be cleaned and disinfected before use
Perform periodically the following checks:

is consumed, the refill bag filling degree decreases, deflating, until it reaches the
crushing. Arrange to replace the refill bag.
Working check
For the proper working of the dosing pump make sure that the product is dosed and consumed
regularly. The level in the AcquaSIL 2/15

1. Rotate the empty refill

A2.2 Inactivity
After inactivity open a tap for at least 3-4 minutes to flush all the piping system. This precautionary
operation should always be performed after inactivity of water distribution systems independently of
the presence of water treatment devices.
The term inactivity indicates the absence of withdrawal from any tap (e.g. during holiday).
If the plumbing system is subject to a cleaning and sanitizing intervention, PuliFIL shall also be
included in the intervention plan.
