4.4.1 ELECTRICAL BOARD INSTALLATION
1)
Remove the protection cartons of the packed lift and lay the components to be mounted
on the floor, so as to work comfortably on the two main struc-tures joined together by the
bolted plates (1, Fig. 8).
2)
Open the electrical board (Fig. 20), secure it to P1 column with the 4 screws (included) and
then close it.
3)
Pass the power cable (17, Fig. 20) and the motor cable (M, Fig. 20) through the same hole (18,
Fig. 20) through which the other cables are routed to column top. Route the motor cable (M,
Fig. 20) out the suitable hole (19, Fig. 20) and connect it to the motor; route the power cable
out the column top.
4)
Connect all cables coming out of hole (18, Fig. 20) to the terminal board on the electrical
board; be sure to observe cable numbering.
4.4.2 POSITIONING AND FIXING OF THE COLUMNS AND THE CROSSBEAM
1)
Place supports of suitable height under the upper ends of both packed columns, remove the
screws securing the upper ends of the columns to the packing plates (1, Fig. 8). Using suitable
hoisting and handling equipment, place the two columns on the supports at approximately 1
metre distance from one another.
2)
Using suitable hoisting and slinging equipment having a proper capacity, hook one of the
columns at the slot on the outer side of the column (Fig. 10), removing the packing plates (1,
Fig. 8) and place it in the desired position as shown in Fig. 11).
3)
Drill six 120-mm deep anchoring 6 holes in the floor (Fig. 9) using a 16 mm drill. Then carefully
clean the holes and the floor.
4)
Fit the 6 M16 anchor bolts of the type specified in the Technical Specifications table (1, Fig. 10)
hitting gently with a hammer and screw them into place but do not tighten yet.
5)
Position the other column and ensure that the columns are at the correct distance and
properly aligned as shown in Fig. 9
6)
Position the other column and repeat the procedure described above.
7)
Now mount the two brackets and the overhead safety shut-off bar (2, Fig. 15) on the overhead
crossbeam (1, Fig. 15) as shown in Fig. 15 using the supplied screws.
8)
Lift the crossbeam using suitable hoisting and slinging systems (1, Fig. 17), place between the
two upper ends of the columns and fix it with the supplied screws (2, Fig. 17).
9)
Tighten the anchor bolts (1, Fig. 10) to 100 Nm. If the anchors spin freely, they should be
replaced with larger anchors.
4.4.3 PIPING CONNECTION
CAUTION: It is crucial that hydraulic system and connections are duly laid out.
