VI.
SECURING OVEN BASE TO GROUND
SPECIAL NOTICE:
Due to the large capacity and overall size of the dryWIRE® Oven, the
user must secure the unit to the ground in order to avoid any forward
tipping. Oven may become unstable when oven door is in an open posi-
tion.
Failure to secure the oven base can result in harm.
There are two different methods for securing a dryWIRE®.
1) To secure oven to the ground , sink two ackermanns into the floor a
minimum of 43" apart (note: make sure the hold-downs will reach the
oven), leave a minimum of 4.75" from the back of the oven to the near-
est wall or obstacle (see Fig. 1). Using the openings found on the out-
side of both feet, attach the hold-downs (found with the original pack-
aging) to each of the ackermanns.
2) To secure oven to the ground , sink two ackermanns into the floor
35.1" apart, leaving a minimum of 4.75" from the back of the oven to the
nearest wall or obstacle (see Fig. 2). Using the slots found on the back
of both feet, slide the oven back, making sure that the ackermann bolt
is in the slot. Use a washer and bolt to secure the oven to the floor.
