Step-by-Step Instructions
Initial Set-up
Remove unit from packaging.
1. Plug power supply into outlet.
2. Plug power supply into viewer.
PLEASE NOTE: Your new EZ-View Auto Light
Viewer includes a Universal Film Clip Roller
feature, allowing several individual rollers to "float"
— allowing placement of multiple mounts and
films of different thicknesses to be inserted across
the top of the viewing area. If you shake your
viewer, they will rattle; this is normal and does not
require repair.
Warnings
Desk Mounting
1. Remove desktop leg from rear of unit.
2. Insert leg into one of three positions available
(15°, 25°, or 75°).
3. Place on stable countertop or other flat surface.
Wall Mounting
1. Mark position for mounting screws 10
(270mm) apart.

4. Align keyhole slots on viewer with screws.
Slip on and push down to secure.
Magnifier
If you have the optional 2X magnifier, it can be
easily snapped into the top and bottom groove
of the viewer. Place the frame into the bottom
groove, then pull up and snap it into the top
groove.
Manual On – Manual Off
• Press either the + or the – push button switch
to turn the unit on.
• Press both the + and – push button switches
simultaneously to turn the unit off.
Auto-light On – Auto Off
• Insert mount or film at the rectangle in the center
of the universal film clip.
• Remove mount or film from the universal film clip
and unit will automatically turn off after five (5)
minutes.
Note: Unit will not automatically turn off unless a
mount or film has been inserted at the rectangle
in the center of the universal film clip and then
removed. If unit is manually turned off with a film
in the rectangle in the center of the universal film
clip, press either the + or the – push button switch
to turn the unit on.
Brightness adjustment
• Press the + push button switch to increase
brightness.
• Press the – push button switch decrease
brightness.
• Press and hold either push button switch for
fast adjustment.
• Press and release for finer, stepped
adjustments.
Note: The unit takes approximately 30 seconds
to reach full brightness.
Maintenance
• Always disconnect power to the viewer before
cleaning or servicing.
• As needed, clean with a soft, damp cloth.
DO NOT USE AN ABRASIVE CLEANER.
• Magnifier lens should be cleaned with lens
tissue or a soft cloth.
Troubleshooting
If viewer does not light:
1. Check that power adapter is completely
inserted into wall receptacle and into power
connection on unit.
2. Check that mount is fully inserted at the
rectangle in the center of the universal film clip

for auto-light function.
3. Check that dimmer is not at the lowest setting,
press and hold the + push button for 5 seconds
to brighten.

Disassembly of unit voids warranty.
DENTSPLY RINN warrants this product to be free of
defective materials and workmanship for one year
from date of purchase when used in accordance
with the operating instructions furnished herewith.
This warranty is limited tothe original purchaser.
Any component that our examination reveals to be
defective shall either be repaired or replaced at
our option. There are no other warranties, either
expressed or implied. Damages are limited to repair or
replacement of product. DENTSPLY RINN expressly
disclaims liability for incidental and consequential
damages resulting from use of its product.
