Problem
Camera's Power On LED Indicator
does not light
No sound or picture
Sound, but no picture on Television

Possible Cause
Camera is not turned "ON"
Power is turned OFF
AC Adapter not
properly connected
Channel switches are not on
the same setting (A, B, C)
Signal interference from
cordless or cellular phones or
other monitors in the area
Camera is too far from
the Receiver
Camera's Audio Only Switch is
positioned to "Video Off"
Camera or Receiver
near metal concentration
Signal interference from
cordless or cellular phones
or other monitors in the area
TV may not be turned on
Volume not turned up
Receiver is too close to
the Camera
Volume is too high
Audio Night Sensor Infrared LED's
not functioning properly
Solution
Slide the ON/OFF switch to the
"ON" position
Make certain house fuses and circuit
breakers are ON
Check to be sure light switches that
control power to wall outlet are ON
Check AC Adapter jack-to-socket and
plug-to-outlet connections
Check the channel switches on BOTH
Camera and Receiver. They must
correspond
Change channel setting on BOTH
Camera and Receiver. Channels
must correspond
Turn both the Camera and Receiver OFF.
Wait a moment, then turn ON again
Move Camera and Receiver closer together.
Position Camera's Audio Only Switch to
"Video On"
Test reception by moving Camera closer to
Receiver or to different areas in house.
Relocate Camera
Change channel setting on BOTH
Camera and Receiver. Channels must
correspond
Turn on TV
Adjust volume on television.
Adjust volume on Receiver
Change channel setting on BOTH
Camera and Receiver
Move Camera further from
Receiver
Adjust Receiver volume.
Adjust volume on television
Turn room lights OFF and check
if Infrared LED's are glowing. If not,
contact the Consumer Relations
Department at Safety 1st
