3 INGECON SUN EMS Board energy manager
3.1 Description
The INGECON SUN EMS Board energy manager consists of a card that is installed inside the
main inverter in the installation.
A. Wi-Fi antenna

The Wi-Fi button is not necessary for FW version AAX1055_P and newer, cause
the Access Point functionality is always accesible.
The main features of the INGECON SUN EMS Board are summarized below.
Local communication
Local communication with the INGECON SUN EMS Board can be established via Wi-Fi or
Ethernet.
Remote communication
Remote communication with the INGECON SUN EMS Board is established using the Device ID
and Password provided with the board.
Communication with the devices
The connection between the INGECON SUN EMS Board and the devices in the installation is
established via Ethernet, Wi-Fi and/or RS-485, according to the type of device.
Communication with the inverter equipped with
INGECON SUN EMS Board is established via its
RS-485 bus.

Several inverters
In an installation with several inverters,
communication is established via Ethernet with one
of them, and the rest can connect to it via RS-485.
