4 Available devices in a Self consumption Installation

Below is a list of the devices available in a self consumption installation.
·
EMS energy manager.
·
Wattmeter.
·
Photovoltaic inverters.
·
Battery inverters (with photovoltaic generation).
·
Electric vehicle charging stations.
·
Electrical grid.
·
Diesel generator.
The following section, "INGECON SUN EMS Tools" , describes all the steps
required to configure the installation from the PC INGECON SUN EMS Tools
application, and the its different operating options.
All the devices are identified by defining the type of communication used with the energy
manager and its Modbus node.

As a general rule, the default communications port is 502. For charging stations the default
port is 503.

The default Modbus number for electric vehicle charging stations is 247.
To configure the Modbus node of a device, see the corresponding installation
manual.
