The wattmeter communicates with the energy manager via RS-485.
RS-485 connection
The RS-485 connection to the INGECON SUN EMS Board is performed as follows.

* Terminal to facilitate the connection.
Position 3 of the switch enables the end of line resistor to be
connected to the RS-485 bus. Positions 1 and 2 activate the pull-
up and pull-down resistors required for devices with Standard
uncertainty threshold.
Positions 1, 2 and 3 of the switch must be activated in the two
units considered as end of line of the RS-485 bus.
External power source +5 VDC
In installations where the INGECON SUN EMS Board is connected to a photovoltaic inverter and
night-time consumption monitoring is required, the INGECON SUN EMS Board can be powered
by an external power supply with the following specifications:

Vout: +5Vdc ±5%
·
Pout (min): 5Watts
Connect the power and change the position of the switch as indicated in the following image.
