This setting is used if the number 7, 8, or 9
N-7-8-9 –
needs to be dialed to reach an outside telephone line.
N means no number needs to be dialed and is the most
common setting for home use.
Select the setting that is appropriate for the telephone
line you will be using. If you are staying in a hotel, you
may have to set the switch to 7, 8, or 9 to get an outside
line.
This setting is used to select a tone (T) or pulse (P)
T-P –
telephone line. T is the most common setting.
