Note: The Acuitus is designed to operate in most lighting conditions. Subdued lighting is
recommended for difficult patients or those with very small pupils. The use of mydriatics may make
refraction and keratometry possible with patients who cannot be measured otherwise because of very
small pupils or cloudy media.
