REMOVAL

1. Remove lynch/bail pin from the handle holes on the adapter (Figure 3). Store lynch pins.
2. Rotate (4) handles into unlocked position (shown below).
HINT: Lift front of adapter out of pucks first and rotate handles to close then repeat on the rear handles. This
will ease the lifting. Handles may have to be worked slightly to align anchors with puck holes to remove.
3. Store adapter in dry place where dirt and debris will not get into anchor assemblies.
4. Install plugs into all (4) of the holes in the truck bed to keep debris out of pucks (Figure 4).
BEFORE EACH TRIP
1. Lube feet with grease for easier engagement
2. Check to make sure that all handles as well as the pull pins of 5
hitch are in place and have respective lynch/bail pins in place.
3. Review operation instruction manuals for both the 5
used, and the corresponding towing section of the truck Manual.
