5.3 Maintaining the Kobold
EBB100 Electric Brush

• Always switch the device off before all retrofitting,
cleaning and maintenance work and disconnect the
Kobold EBB100 Electric Brush from the Kobold
VB100 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner.
5.3.1

Checking and cleaning

Underside
1. Check the underside every once in a while to pre-
vent damage to the device and floor.
2. Perform visual inspections from time to time in
order to detect defects or very dirty areas.
3. Remove any dirt. Remove any hair or fibres that are
coiled around the small rollers at the front and
check that the rollers rotate freely.
Roller brushes
1. If threads are coiled around the roller brushes, these
can simply be cut with a pair of scissors
moved.
2. If a substantial amount of material is coiled around
the brushes, remove the brushes (see chapter "5.3.2
Changing the roller brushes" on page 37) before
clearing away the threads.
