Setting of the differential pressure switches (version with integrated electronic controller)
The integrated electronic controller version includes a differential pressure switch for monitoring filter
clogging and a differential pressure switch for the electric heater battery.
The factory pre-set is suitable for most installations.
The setting for the "heater battery safety" differential pressure switch is a minimum threshold and should
not be set any lower. It can be increased, depending on the system, to ensure better ventilation detection.
The setting for the "filter clogging" differential pressure switch is defined for a nominal filter clogging
detection threshold; factory pre-set is for a G4 type filter.
Note: a lower clogging threshold will cause more frequent filter changes.

STARTING UP
Make sure the fan wheel is turning freely and there are no objects in the unit capable of being projected by the
wheel.
Before starting up, the unit should be connected to the mains supply and the cover should be shut.
IMPORTANT! This appliance should only be installed, configured and serviced by a professional
electrician working in accordance with the rules of good professional conduct, installation guidelines
and applicable safety regulations. Make sure the power supply capacity at the connection point is
sufficient for the requirements of the system. Consult your electricity provider if necessary. Before
switching on the power, check that the power supply matches the specifications given in these
guidelines: connecting the unit to a different voltage may lead to its destruction. Isolate the power
before opening the enclosure. Do not touch live parts. Danger of death! Electrical connections which
do not conform to the diagrams given in the notice and/or applicable installation requirements shall
render our guarantee void.
MAINTENANCE
Cut off the power before maintenance and make sure it cannot be restored during maintenance (we recommend
lock-isolating switch).
a) Cleaning:
-
Remove the dust from the fan blades.
-
Check the element rods and remove dust if necessary.
To unmount the heater battery, disconnect the element
rods and the thermostats then remove the 4 mounting
screws. Remove the battery as shown in the diagram
opposite.
b) The G4 type filter:
Check the filter regularly for clogging. The filter should be
changed before its pressure loss reaches a value of 2
times higher than when it was clean.
