Maneuver the crossbars
into the towers on the vehicle roof.
CLOSE levers on all
towers.
If lever
WILL NOT CLOSE
COMPLETELY,
make sure
the base
is aligned
to the tower.
NOTE: Closing the levers
secures towers to bases.
Rotate the small hole inside the
lock housing so that the point on
the core will align properly.
OK
WITH LEVERS
OPEN,
slide towers
onto bases.
If crossbar will not slide in,
loosen tower hood bolt.
WARNING:
Avoid over loosening the bolt.
Dissassembly may occur!
TEST INSTALLATION
by pulling on each
tower and each bar.
Install end caps
on crossbars.
Some play between
tower and base is

hood bolts
after crossbars
are positioned.
