When a Java™ application is active, the Java midlet
indicator ` displays in this location.
7. Message Indicator – Displays when you receive a new
message. Indicators can include:
r = text message
t = voicemail
s = voicemail and
d = IM message
text message
a = active chat
session

battery charge level. Recharge the battery when Low Battery
displays and the battery alert sounds.

Using the 4-Way Navigation Key

Press the 4-way navigation key
S up, down, left, or right to scroll
through the menu system,
highlight menu items, change
feature settings, and play games.

message key E to send a
message or read messages you
have received.
