Safety Information

2.3 General Safety Information

Observe the applicable national laws on accident prevention and occupational
safety when completing any work!
Never use the test kit in connection with an external source of pressure.
Never connect an external pressure generator to the test kit!
Never operate the test kit with brake fluid or other aggressive media!
Avoid any contact of hydraulic oil with the skin!
► Wear protective gloves!
► Observe the safety datasheet of the hydraulic oil used!
Never disassemble components connected to the test kit when it is pressurised!
► Open the pressure release valve before removing components!
► Collect any hydraulic fluid which escapes and dispose of it according to the
applicable laws!
Only use seals and adapters available as accessories.
Never use teflon tape to seal the pressure connections! Residue from the teflon
tape could get into the hand pump and damage the hand pump.
Always store the test kit with the pressure release valve open! This prevents pres-
sure being built up in the test kit through inadvertent pump movements.
Prevent the test kit being exposed to any types of force!
Never use a test kit if it is damaged or defective!
Observe and maintain the pressure limit values for the test kit. & "Dati tecnici" on
