Das Überwachungsrelais 3UG3014 dient zur Lastüberwachung bei Motoren
über die Messung der Phasenverschiebung zwischen Spannung und Strom,
dem cos ϕ. Die Ausgangsrelais haben angesprochen und die zugehörigen
gelben LEDs leuchten, solange der cos ϕ zwischen dem eingestellten unte-
ren und oberen Schwellwert liegt. Diese werden über zwei Potentiometer an
der Frontseite getrennt eingestellt.
Wenn der Wert des cos ϕ außerhalb dieses Bereiches ist, fällt das entspre-
chende Ausgangsrelais nach Ablauf einer auf der Frontseite eingestellten
Verzögerungszeit T1 ab und die zugehörige gelbe LED geht aus. Während
der Zeit T1 blinkt die grüne LED am Spulensymbol mit 1 Hz. Eine feste Hyste-
rese verhindert das dauernde Ein- und Ausschalten des Ausgangsrelais,
wenn der Messwert nahe an einem Schwellwert ist. Durch die Einschaltver-
zögerung T2 kann der Motoranlauf ausgeblendet werden. Während der Zeit
T2 blinkt die grüne LED am Spulensymbol mit 1 Hz. Wird die Einstellung

The 3UG3014 monitoring relay serves to monitor motor loading by measu-
ring the phase shift between voltage and current, i.e. the power factor
(cos ϕ). The output relays respond and the corresponding yellow LEDs are
illuminated as long as the power factor lies between the set upper and
lower threshold values. These thresholds are set on two potentiometers on
the front.
If the value of the power factor is outside of this range, the corresponding
output relay releases after the delay time T1 set on the front and the corre-
sponding yellow LED turns off. During the delay time T1, the green LED at
the coil symbol blinks with 1 Hz. A fixed hysteresis prevents the output relay
from constantly closing and opening when the value measured is near one
of the thresholds. Motor starting can be suppressed by means of ON delay
T2. During the switch-on delay T2, the green LED at the coil symbol blinks
with 2 Hz. If the setting cos ϕ max is less than cos ϕ min is selected, the
green LED at the coil symbol blinks with 2 Hz to indicate that the setting is
incorrect.
