• The greater the installation height, the wider the range, but also the
lower the detector's level of sensitivity.
• Movements diagonal to the detector are ideal for triggering the device
(a direct and head-on approach makes it more difficult for the device
to detect movement and the range is thus significantly reduced).
• The detector should be positioned according to spatial conditions
and requirements.
• Ensure that the detector has a clear line of sight, as infrared beams
cannot penetrate solid objects.
The presence detector features a DIMMER channel. ESYLUX PD-C360i/24
DIMplus series presence detectors consist of a power and a sensor
section. Install the power section in the required position (fig. 3) and
connect the presence detector as shown in the circuit diagram (fig. 4).
Fig. 4
Master/slave connection for presence detectors: you can connect a maximum of
10 slave devices to one master device. Ensure that the total length of the cable
used to connect the master to the furthest slave device does not exceed 100 m,
as this may result in switching errors, depending on the type of installation.
You can adjust the detector's settings using the DIP switches on the
back of the sensor (see the "DIP switch" section in chapter 6). This must
be done before the device is activated. Plug the sensor section into the
power section and gently screw in place.
4 • START-UP
Connect the power supply
• This will initiate a warm-up phase of approximately 25 seconds.
The red (light channel 1 = C1), the green (light channel 2 = HVAC) and
the blue LEDs will flash alternately. The connected lighting will be
switched on during this time.
The detectors are preset to factory settings/remote control and are
therefore immediately ready for use after the warm-up phase.

5 • OPERATION
Depending on the preset light value, each time movement is detected
the red or green LED will briefly flash twice (the LED can be switched
off - see chapter 8/Remote control). The presence detector operates
according to its default factory settings.
Switch delay
The detector will only activate the lighting after a time delay to prevent
a sudden change in brightness from causing undesired switching on/
off of the lighting.
Time delay from "light to dark": 30 seconds = red LED lights up for channel 1/
green LED lights up for channel 2.
