■ Carbon monoxide intoxication prevention
● The burning of gas consumes large amount of air and produces some amount of
poisonous gas like carbon monoxide (and nitrogen monoxide). Thus, the
appliance must be fixed in a ventilated location. Keep the fan running and the
ventilation hole opened.
In case of intoxication, please shut off the gas supply and open the windows
immediately. Turn off the appliance and call for medical help.
● A flue duct as shown in Fig.8 must be installed for combustion product discharge,
keeping the air inside the room clean.
● Poor air ventilation would cause flue gas discharge problem and abnormal
combustion, which can reduce the lifetime of the appliance and even threat
human's life. Do make sure the installation site of the appliance is open and has
good ventilation when it's running.
■ The appliance must be installed vertically.
● Slant installation for the appliance would incur abnormal combustion and
shorten its lifetime, sometimes even cause fire accident.
■ Prevent eyes from getting hurt
Keep eyes away from the flame-view window at a minimum safety distance of
300mm during ignition (Fig.8).
■ Freezing prevention
This appliance is not designed for use in icy condition. However, in case of
unexpected low temperature, please drain the water remaining in the appliance
completely after each use. Otherwise the appliance could be frozen and
damaged, and the manufacturer is not responsible for that.
The drainage action is as following:
⑴ Turn off the water inlet valve;
