PROBLEM
Unit fails to heat up. Lighted
On/Off Switch does not
illuminate when set to "ON"
position.
Unit fails to heat up. Lighted

Ironing Plate heats up, but unit
fails to steam.
NOTE: Always allow sufficient
time for unit to heat, and for
water to be pumped from Water
Tank to Steam Nozzle.
Steam output is weak or

Unit produces loud pumping
sounds when Steam Button is
pushed.

ROUBLESHOOTING
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Unit is not plugged in.
Household circuit breaker / ground
fault interrupter has tripped or
blown a fuse.
Unit is damaged or otherwise in
need of repair.
Steam Button is not being pushed
and held.
Water Tank is low / empty.
Mineral build-up in Steam Nozzle.
Unit is damaged or otherwise in
need of repair.
Mineral build-up in Steam Nozzle.
Self-Clean Switch is set to "ON"
position.
Sound is a result of pumping
system pushing air and water
through Hose.

SOLUTION
Plug power cord into electrical
outlet.
Reset circuit breaker / ground fault
interrupter, or replace fuse. If you
need assistance, contact a licensed
electrician.
Immediately cease usage and
contact Customer Service for
assistance (see Page 15 for
details).
Hold down Steam Button to
produce steam, or lock it down
using Steam-Lock Switch.
Refill Water Tank with water.
Refer to Page 10 for details.
Refer to Self-Cleaning section on
Page 13 for cleaning procedure.
Immediately cease usage and
contact Customer Service for
assistance (see Page 15 for
details).

When in self-clean mode, unit is
designed to spray water from
Steam Nozzle to flush out mineral
deposits. Make sure Self-Clean
Switch is set to "OFF" position for
normal use.
When unit has not been used for a
long period of time, Hose will fill
with air. When Steam Button is
pushed, air must be forced out as
water is pumped in. After
approximately 20-30 seconds,
sound will begin to fade.
Pump should be inaudible by the
time unit begins producing steam.
If sound persists during use, there
may be a problem with the unit.
Immediately cease usage and
contact Customer Service.
