Gather the following tools and accessories before you begin the installation
procedure:

a Torx T-10 driver or

a grounding wrist strap
•
system manuals for your workstation
The HP-PB PSI card is identified by the name "
which is located on the card's bulkhead (face plate). A separate bar code and a date
code (example: "A-2949") are also affixed to the card.
Make note of the card's part number and date code. You will need this information if
you need to contact your HP representative for assistance.
The PSI card complies with HP-PB specifications for a standard power card. Check
your system's installation and configuration manuals to determine which slots
accommodate standard power cards.
The lower left corner of the card's bulkhead is labeled with a small open circle (see
Figure 1). This symbol indicates that the card complies with HP-PB specifications
for a standard power card.
