4. Assembly

4.1 Wall mounting

Wall mounting BASE-STATION 3 NG for LIFE-BASE 4 NG WM 8195
Warning!
• Only the LIFE-BASE III and LIFE-BASE 4 NG portable systems may be sus-
pended in the BASE-STATION 3 NG wall mounting. The weight and di-
mensions of these portable systems are exactly matched to the wall
mounting, so use of other portable systems is not permitted.
• Hanging up third-party products or adapters from other manufacturers
is not permitted, as this does not comply with the use in accordance with
the purpose of this wall mounting.

Note
• The surface for attachment must be sufficiently strong to hold the wall
mounting and the portable system securely to EN 1789 (ambulances)
and/or RTCA DO 160E.
• The charger interface connection to the 12 V on-board electricity supply
must be fused with an 8 A fuse.
1. Look for a suitable place to attach the wall mounting,
somewhere plane and vertical.
2. Mark all 9 bores at the mounting point.
3. Drill the holes using a 4.2 mm drill bit.
4. Insert nine M5 threads in the surface for attachment.
5. Screw on the wall mounting using the 9 screws en-
closed. The portable system must be fitted horizontally.
6. Connect the charger interface to the 12 V on-board
electricity supply of the emergency vehicle using the
plug connector for vehicles.
