4.3 Oxygen supply

Wash your hands thoroughly before starting any work on the oxygen supply. Hydro-
carbon compounds (such as oils, greases, cleaning alcohols, hand creams or adhesive
plasters) can lead to explosive reactions if they come into contact with highly-com-
pressed oxygen.
Fit accessories bag for ventilators
1. Pass the retaining strap for the accessories bag through
the loop on the side of the protective bag.
2. Attach the retaining strap to the accessories bag using
the Velcro tab.
3. Press the accessories bag against the side of the
portable system so that the additional Velcro tab causes
the accessories bag to contact the portable system
firmly.
Fit accessories bag for defibrillation/ventilation
1. Hook the zip on the accessories bag into the zip on the
protective bag.
2. Close the zip.
Note
The accessories bag for defibrillation is attached to
the left of the protective bag, the accessories bag
for ventilation to the right of the protective bag.
Fit accessories bag for defibrillation
1. Press the accessories bag against the rear wall of the
portable system.
