2.7 Monitor Connection

An external viewing device is required to adjust the settings, control features and to display the images and
videos from the camera of the PIPELINE INSPECTION SYSTEM.
This external viewer is not included with the PIPELINE INSPECTION SYSTEM and must be purchased
separately.
The following options are available:
- MILWAUKEE WIRELESS MONITOR M18SIM.
- Tablet or smartphone with running the MILWAUKEE PIPELINE INSPECTION APP.
The WIRELESS MONITOR can connect to the PIPELINE INSPECTION SYSTEM via Wi-Fi or USB-C cable and
will be immediately ready for use. In order to use a tablet or smartphone, the MILWAUKEE PIPELINE
INSPECTION APP must fi rst be installed on that device.
FIRST TIME USE WITH THE WIRELESS MONITOR M18SIM:
1. Turn on the CONTROL HUB & WIRELESS MONITOR
2. The WIRELESS MONITOR will automatically connect to the CONTROL HUB in 25 seconds
*For wired connection, connect monitor and control hub with USB-C Cable
FIRST TIME USE WITH A SMARTPHONE OR TABLET:
1. Download and install the MILWAUKEE PIPELINE INSPECTION APP
2. Turn on the CONTROL HUB and viewing device
3. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi
4. Select MTCAM_[LAST 9 DIGITS OF HUB SERIAL #]
5. Enter Password: 29702000
6. Launch the MILWAUKEE PIPELINE INSPECTION APP
