for trailer wiring installed. Do not use this existing
fuse holder. Remove the existing 30 amp fuse holder
and replace it with the yellow fuse holder and 10 amp
fuse (provided).
6. Install the 10 Amp fuse (provided) in the yellow fuse holder
and reconnect the vehicles negative (-) battery cable.
Note: Always refer to the vehicles owners manual for
information regarding the re-attachment of battery
cables.
7. From the rear of the vehicle,
locate the vehicles trailer wiring
harness. This harness will be
located under the vehicle on the
drivers side near the frame rail
(Fig. 2). The harness will have a
connector similar to that on the
T-Connector harness.
8. Remove the protective dust cap from the connector. Check
for any dust, dirt or debris and remove if necessary.
9. Plug the T-Connector into the vehicle harness connector
and press firmly together until the locking tabs engage.
10. Test for correct operation using a test light or a trailer.
11. Route the T-Connectors 4-flat trailer end to the center and
secure the black box and all loose wires using a cable ties
(provided).
