3.- LEVELLING THE MACHINE

• Before placing the machine on the floor, keep it on the forklift and screw (fig.6-E) on
the legs with its proper key.
• Lower the arms of the forklift and set the machine carefully on the floor.
• After the machine has been positioned, level it using a spirit level (fig.6-F) (THE SPIRIT
LEVEL MUST HAVE A SENSITIVITY OF AL LEAST
POSITIONED ON THE WORKTABLE. Adjust the levelling nuts (fig.6-G) on the four
foot (fig.6-H) with an open-ended spanner, levelling the machine first in a longitudinal
direction and then transversally.
• After levelling the machine, tighten the locknuts (fig.6-I) on the machine legs, to
prevent movement of the levelling screws caused by vibration.

4.- COMPRESSED AIR CONNECTIONS
The compressed air system must have a rubber supply hose with a 3/8"
supply connector; under no circumstances must the compressed air supply
have a value above 10 bar or less than 5 bar.
Attach the compressed air supply hose to the quick-fit connector provided (fig. 7-L) on
the filter-reduction unit located on the side of the machine, and check on the pressure
gauge (fig. 7-M) that the pressure is between 5 and 6 bar. If not, lift the adjustment knob
(fig. 7-N) and rotate it until the correct value is obtained.
The lockable cut-off valve (fig.7-O) allows the compressed air supply to be
disconnected from the machine in total safety, and at the same time permits residual
compressed air to be released from the pneumatic circuits of the machine (to be used
before all maintenance and repair operations).
Discharge on the filter group is semi-automatic, and occurs every time that the supply is
interrupted.
Otherwise the condensation water must be periodically discharged by turning the
specific cap (fig. 7-P).
Before all operations on the machine close the cut-off valve and lock it.
