Use 17 mm socket to remove (2) bolts from tie down bracket on passenger side, see
Figure 2. Return tie down bracket to vehicle owner.
Raise the hitch into position over existing weldnuts and install M12 bolt ① and conical
washer ② (teeth side against hitch) into weldnuts.
Tighten all fasteners with torque wrench to 76 Lb.-Ft. (103 N*M)
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.

Remove plastic caps from 2 rearmost existing weldnuts on the driver side, (a couple
light twists with a standard screwdriver makes this easier) remove the rearmost rubber
plug from the hole between the two weldnuts that were exposed earlier on the driver
side.
