INSTALLING THE TRANSMITTER

NOTE: All wiring and transmitter installation must be in accordance
with the National Electrical Code and local electrical codes. Electrical
installation should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
WARNING: Shut off main power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel
before continuing.
Select a location to install the transmitter and transmitter wall plate.
You can replace a pre-existing wall switch with the transmitter, or

install the transmitter to a new wall outlet box.
REMEMEBER you can safely use the transmitter outdoors but it Wall outlet box

should be mounted indoors away from excess heat and away from
contact with water or humidity.

Step 1. Remove the pre-existing wall plate and wall switch from pre-
existing wall outlet box. Disconnect wires from switch. Wire nut the

BLACK leads (hot) together, and push wires back inside the wall
outlet box (Fig. 23). Or select a desired location with a new outlet box.
Step 2. Use the screws provided to install the transmitter to the wall
outlet box (Fig. 24).
Step 3. Use the screws provided to install the transmitter wall plate
(Fig. 24).
