Step 3: Initialization and configuration of the ContiPressureCheck system
1. Make sure that the ContiConnect Bluetooth Dongle is paired with your Android device, the
ContiConnect Driver app is started and an active connection with the dongle is established
(the LED is permanently lit blue).
2. Follow the instructions for initializing and configuring the ContiPressureCheck system
according to the manual for the handheld reader. This can be downloaded from
EN
www.contipressurecheck.com/downloads. In case the ContiConnect Bluetooth Dongle has
been connected to an existing ContiPressureCheck system that has already been used, a
complete initialization will not be necessary. In this case, check the CAN setting used
previously and change it to J1939 if needed.
3. Connect the powered Continental handheld reader to the diagnostic connector of wiring
harness K as soon as the handheld reader prompts you.
4. After the configuration is successfully completed, restart all devices and the app by turning
off the car ignition and restarting your Android device or app.
5. After restarting, the app will display the vehicle diagram and the system will be ready for use.
NOTE: It is mandatory that the ContiPressureCheck system be configured according to CAN bus
format J1939.
