BAT TERY POWERED IGNITION
TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOMS
01. Burner will not Light with ignition system
CLEANING THE GRIDDLE COOKING SURFACE

With the help of another person, place the griddle top and hood
02. Pressing the ignition button does not result in a clicking sound
onto the griddle body by aligning the four pins to the holes on top of the
griddle unit. Make sure the pins are fully seated in the holes.
To determine the cause, please try to ignite your griddle with a match.
(Please reference the Match Lighting Instructions in the Cleaning the Burner
Assembly section of the Care & Maintenance chapter.)
If you CAN ignite your griddle with a match

griddle's seasoning.
Insert one AA battery (not included)
into the battery socket with the posi-
tive terminal facing out, then screw
on the Ignition Button until tight. Be
careful to not over tighten.
