electric connections

1. Lift up the front panel.
2. Remove the terminal block cover.
3. For the electrical connections, see the circuit diagram on the right
side of the unit, under the front panel.
4. Connect the wires to the screw terminals following their numbers.
Use wire size suitable to the electric power input (see name plate
on the unit) and according to the requirements of governing local
safety codes.
5. The cable that will connect the outdoor and indoor units must be
suitable for outdoor use.
6. The plug must be accessible after the appliance has been installed
so that it can easily disconnected if necessary.
7. The air conditioner must be prop-
erly grounded to a safe ground.
8. If the power cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufac-
turer or by its service agent, or by
qualified personnel in order to pre-
vent risks.
Note: In models not equipped with a
terminal block, the wires have been
connected to the main PCB at the fac-
tory.

refrigerant pipes

Pipes can run in the 3 possible directions indicated in the figure.
When the pipe is run in direction 1 or 3, cut a notch along the
groove on the side of the indoor unit with a cutter.
Run the pipe in the direction of the wall hole and join the drain
pipe and the power cables together using tape. The drain pipe
should be located at the bottom, so water can be easily drained.
Do not remove the caps from the pipes ends until connecting them,
this will prevent moisture and dust from entering.
When extending a rolled pipe, unwind it gently as shown in the fig-
ure.
