When the set bake time runs out:
SETTING BROIL
Always operate broil mode with door closed. "Hi" is
used for most broiling. Use "Lo" broil when broiling longer
cooking foods. The lower temperature allows food to cook to
the well done stage without excessive browning. For best
results when broiling, use a pan designed for broiling.
To set the oven to broil at the Hi or Lo setting:
• Should an oven fire occur, leave the
oven door closed and turn the oven off.
If the fire continues, throw baking soda
on the fire or use a fire extinguisher.
• DO NOT put water or flour on the fire.
- Flour may be explosive and water can cause a
grease fire to spread and cause personal injury.
