8.0 Assembly
The table saw must be discon-
nected from power source during jig assembly
procedures.
Refer to exploded view if clarification needed for
assembling parts. Refer to Figure 1 for terminology.
8.1 Tools needed for assembly
4mm and 5mm hex keys
8.2 Installing guide bar
The guide bar must be installed in one of two
positions on the jig.
1.
Measure distance from left side of blade to right
edge of left miter slot on table saw (Figure 2).
Figure 2: measuring miter slot distance
If measurement is 5-inches or more, install
guide bar in left position. If measurement is less
than 5-inches, install guide bar in right position.
See Figures 3 and 4.
2.
Turn jig over and install button screw with lock
washer, through center hole (A, Figures 3,4).
Use 4mm hex key. Do not fully tighten.
3.
Turn jig right side up, and loosely install socket
head screw with lock and flat washers (B,
Figure 3) through top hole. Use 5mm hex key.
Do not fully tighten.
Note: Make screws only snug at this time. The guide
bar must be adjusted for parallelism to jig fence, as
