Step 8: Attached the foam tape to the left and right side flanges of the insert, as shown
in Fig. g. The foam tape shall be spaced about 10 – 15 mm (0.4 – 0.6 in) from the
front edge of the insert.
Step 9: Make sure that the foam tape is completely covering both the side flanges, as
shown in Fig. H.
Step 10: Carefully place the insert into the unit opening from the back of the mantel. The
front of insert should be flush with the front of the mantel. See Fig. I.

Step 11: Attach panel O to panel C with 2 connector screws [w]. See Fig. j.
Step 12: Attach panels C and O to the unit as shown in Fig. K.
Step 13: Attach 2 L – Mounting brackets [U] with 2 short screws [V] onto base panel [D]
(1 screw for each bracket). Attach top flange of insert to mantel with 3 short
screws [V]. See Fig. L.
Step 14: Attach panel b to panels A, C, H and I with 6 connector screws [w]. See Fig. M.
