Requirement for creation of a CPU volume
The allocation and formatting of the CPU volume is carried out automatically during the installation process. One of the
following requirements must be met for this:
● The partition style has to be a "Master Boot Record (MBR)".
The partition style is specified under "Computer Management > Disk Management > Data storage medium properties" in
the "Volumes" tab.
● At least 401 MB of unpartitioned memory on the data storage medium 0 (disk 0)
● At least 401 MB available memory on the extended partition on the data storage medium 0 (disk 0)
● Partition D:\\ must be located on data storage medium 0 (disk 0), may not be encrypted and must have at least 450 MB
free memory space.
The graphic below provides an overview of how the partition is ideally allocated on your PC prior to the installation of the
CPU. To access this view, open the Disk Management in the Computer Management of your PC.
