Operation
After pressing the actuating cap (D), water flow is initiated for a
factory-adjusted running time of 15 s, see Fig. [2].
Renewed pressing during running time stops the water flow
immediately. Water flow is terminated automatically following
expiry of the set time.
Setting the running time
In order to change the running time, please proceed as
follows:
1. Activate adjusting mode by pressing the actuating cap (D),
see Fig. [2].
2. Hold actuating cap pressed; water flow commences after
pressing for 10 s.
3. Release the actuating cap after achieving the desired
running time (2 - 180 s).
4. Confirm the set time by pressing the actuating cap twice
(double click) within 2 s.
The running time setting is confirmed by a short
water pulse (1 s).
Automatic flushing (factory setting: not activated)
The automatic flushing serves to maintain water hygiene in the
case of long-term non-utilisation of the fitting and activates
water flow for 5 minutes, 3 days after the last use.
Safety notes:
- Ensure free draining in the case of activated automatic
flushing.
- For automatic flushing of the hot and cold water lines, the
fitting must be in the mixed water setting.
Switching automatic flushing On / Off.
Please proceed as follows:
1. Press actuating cap (D), see Fig. [2].
2. Release the actuating cap; water flow commences.
3. With water running, press the actuating cap again and hold
(approx. 5 s) until the water flow is interrupted for 1 s.
4. Continue to press and hold the actuating cap (approx. 5 s)
until the water flow is again interrupted for 1 s.
5. Continue to press the actuating cap (approx. 5 s) until the
water flow is again interrupted for 1 s.
6. By pressing the actuating cap twice (double click) within the
next 2 s, switch the automatic flushing on or off.
Pulsating water jet indicates the setting:
- 4 water pulses = Automatic flushing is switched on
- 2 water pulses = Automatic flushing is switched off
For each switching, the procedure must be repeated starting
from 1.
Setting continuous running time to 3.5 min or 11 min
Please proceed as follows:
1. Press actuating cap (D), see Fig. [2].
2. Release the actuating cap; water flow commences.
3. With water running, press the actuating cap again and hold
(approx. 5 s) until the water flow is interrupted for 1 s.
5
a) 3.5 min:
- Release actuating cap.
- By pressing the actuating cap twice (double click) within the
next 2 s, start continuous running for 3.5 min.
b) 11 min:
- Continue to press and hold the actuating cap (approx. 5 s)
until the water flow is again interrupted for 1 s.
- Release actuating cap.
- By pressing the actuating cap twice (double click) within the

Setting temperature limiter
Prod. no. 36 233 and 36 251:
1. Remove screw (E) using a 2mm allen key, see Fig. [5].
2. Turn mixer lever (F) clockwise until the desired maximum
temperature is reached.
3. Detach mixer lever (F), see Fig. [6].
4. Detach stop ring (G) and reattach with notch (G1) pointing
vertically upwards.
5. Turn mixer spindle (H) anti-clockwise to the stop.
6. Attach mixer lever (F) in horizontal position and fasten with
screw (E).
Maintenance
Inspect and clean all components and replace if necessary.
I. Cartridge
The battery must be replaced 10 years after initial operation of
the fitting, at the latest.
Batteries which are almost discharged are indicated by a
pulsating water jet.
1. Remove screw (I), see Fig. [7].
2. Pull out cartridge (J) with battery (K).
3. Remove battery (K), check the contacts, clean and, if
necessary, replace the battery.
4. Actuate cartridge (J) once by pressing the actuating cap.
5. Insert new battery (K).
6. The fitting is now in installation mode for 3 minutes; no
water flows on actuation.
7. Insert cartridge (J) with battery (K) in the fitting and fasten
with screw (I).
8. Installation mode is terminated after 3 min. or by pressing
the actuating cap twice (double click) within 2 s.
Reassemble in reverse order.
