Troubleshooting

Fault – Cause – Remedy
The causes and remedies for the following alarms have been
changed.

Cause
Inspiratory O concentration

is below the lower alarm limit.
Incorrect setting of the switch
on the external fresh-gas out-
let or fresh-gas hose not con-
nected to the external fresh-
gas outlet.
Insufficient fresh-gas supply
in all ventilation modes.
Hose blocked/kinked.
Leakage or disconnection in
the breathing system.
Incorrect setting of the switch
on the external fresh-gas out-
let or fresh-gas hose not con-
nected to the external fresh-
gas outlet.
Remedy
Check O supply. Check

the setting of the flow con-
trol valve and lower O
2
alarm limit.
Check the position of the
switch or the connection of
the fresh-gas hose to the
external fresh-gas outlet.
Ensure sufficient fresh-gas
supply.
Check hoses.
Check breathing system.
Check the position of the
switch or the connection of
the fresh-gas hose to the
external fresh-gas outlet.
