1e. Disconnect the wiring harness from fascia.
2. Remove bumper beam – using 15mm socket, remove (6) flange hex
nuts from bumper beam. Gently remove bumper beam and set it
aside.

1f. Remove the insulation from end panel and top of bumper beam.
3. Hitch installation – raise the hitch into position aligning holes in hitch
with studs on vehicle end panel. Reinstall the bumper beam on top of
hitch and loosely reinstall the M10 flange hex nuts onto studs in end
panel, (3) per side. See figure 1.
