Life expectancy
The life expectancy of the CLiC-iT C8++ swivel depends
on how and how often it is used. Including both the
storage time and the time in use, the life expectancy is
estimated at an average of 10 years. It should be noted
that climbing or caving in a saline environment
considerably reduces the life expectancy of the swivel.
Avoid knocking or rubbing against sharp parts or
causing fraying (eg. rocks).
Only an annual inspection by a trained and competent
person or the manufacturer can determine whether or
not the product is in good condition or should be taken
out of use. This last point is even more true in the event
of extensive use (daily use, excessive use). In any case,
dispose of the swivel after 10 years of use.

For the user's safety, it is vital, if the product is resold
outside the first destination country, that the distributor
provides the product use, maintenance, scheduled
check and repair instructions in the language of the
country of use.
