• Move one step forward and repeat this process.

Technique – Trimming the Lawn Edge (Picture K)
• Flip over the cutting head (11) (see the "Assembly and Settings of the Device"
chapter – "Switching to Edge Trimmer") and place the device down on the edge of
the lawn on the edge guide roller (7).
• Slide the device forwards along the edge of the lawn.

Maintenance and Storage

PLEASE NOTE!

Always take the battery out of the device before any cleaning work is carried out.

All moving parts are maintenance-free.

Do not use any degreasing agents.
■
Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents! These may damage the
surface.
General Inspection
• Regularly inspect all screws to make sure they fi t securely as over time they can
become loose due to vibrations.
• Check the device and all accessories for damage on a regular basis. Do not use it if
the device or the accessories are damaged.
• Regularly inspect the cutting blades (9) to check their condition and secure fi t.
Cleaning
Keep the device clean at all times. Dust and dirt will cause the parts to wear more
quickly and the lifespan of the device may be reduced.
• Clean the device with a soft brush or a damp cloth.
• Clean the ventilation slots with a brush, a vacuum cleaner or clean, dry compressed
air, if available.
Lubrication
• It is not necessary to lubricate any moving parts of the device.
Maintenance
• Damaged or worn cutting blades (9) must be replaced. Replacement cutting blades
are available at www.hoberg-shop.de (replacement part number 44277330100).
Storage
• Always remove the battery from the device.
• Store the device and accessories in a dry, clean place which is protected from the
effects of weather and temperature and is out of the reach of children and animals.
