Mounting the TD 390 in a Control Panel or a Cabinet Door

Mounting The TD 390 is prepared for permanent mounting in a control panel or a
cabinet door. Proceed as follows:
1 Remove a standard cutout in the control panel to DIN 43700
(size: 138 x 68 mm).
2 Remove the screws from the rear of the TD 390 (see figure
below).
3 Remove the rear panel. (See ESD guidelines in Annex A.4.)
4 Stick the three self–adhesive spacers supplied on the screw holes
in the rear panel of the housing.
– No ring for sheet thicknesses up to 0.3 mm
– One ring for sheet thicknesses from 0.3 to 1.5 mm
– Two rings on top of each other for sheet thicknesses of
1.5 to 4 mm
5 Place the supplied sealing ring on the front part of the housing
(see figure).
6 Fit the front part of the housing in the cutout in the control panel.
7 Push the rear panel on the housing.
8 Secure the TD 390 by means of screws. Slightly tighten the
screws.
