2.4 Setting the RDS function of the selected FM channel

RDS edit
The cursor keys are used to select the parameter "RDS", and the up/down keys to select the function "Off, SDT, auto, edit".
If RDS "Off" is selected, no RDS is transmitted.
If RDS "SDT" is selected, the name entered in the SDT of the channel is adopted.
The function RDS "Auto" adopts the RDS data embedded within the audio data stream. If can occur that channel providers do not
embed these data and thus no station name appears.
If RDS "Edit" is selected, the channel name shown in the "Edit" submenu is transmitted. Pressing the " " button switches to the submenu
for editing the RDS station name.

Here the station name can be input manually; it appears in the bottom line. The up/down keys can be used to add or remove letters at
the f ashing cursor. The cursor keys can be used to select the desired letters from the stock in the second and third lines. The station
name can consist of a maximum of 8 characters. Pressing the " " button takes you back to the previous display in the main menu.
2.5 Setting the audio volume of the selected FM channel

The parameter "Volume" permits a certain adjustment of the audio volume (±3 dB) of the selected channel. The setting is made using
the up/down keys.
