Overview

The BC-L160 Battery Charger is capable of
simultaneous charging of up to four of any
of the lithium-ion battery packs BP-GL65,
BP-GL95, BP-L60S, or BP-L80S or
supplying DC power to an external device.

Simultaneous charge of up to four
battery packs
Up to four battery packs can be attached and
charged simultaneously.
Efficient charging
The BC-L160 allows quick charging of
such battery packs as a BP-GL95, which
allows communication between battery
packs.
Charging mode selectable
The BC-L160 can be set not to charge
battery packs to their full capacity, which
prolongs battery life.
Compact and lightweight
The BC-L160 is compact, lightweight, and
easy to carry.
Check function
The BC-L160 checks the capacity of a
battery pack by estimating it from the
discharging time of a fully charged battery.
Battery information display
Information on the attached battery packs,
such as capacity of the battery packs,
remaining charge time, number of cycles of
charge and discharge, appears on the
display.
Skip function
If a battery pack with over 90% full charge
is attached, recharging can be skipped.
Up to 100 W DC power supply
The BC-L160 supplies DC power of up to
100 W to a device connected with a DC
power cord (not supplied).
Cooling fan
The internal cooling fan turns on whenever
the BC-L160 is charging a battery pack or
supplying DC power to an external device.
Charging with less charging current lowers
the fan rotation, and charging in silent mode
is available.
Note
The DC-L1 (NP-1B adaptor) and DC-L90
(BP-90A adaptor) cannot be used to charge
nickel-cadmium battery packs.
