4. Having the battery charged first of all disconnect
the battery and then disconnect the charger from
the mains.

between 0 – 45°C

mains when not used.

6.2.2. Battery replacement

Taking the replaceable battery off the powered respi-
ratory unit : grasp the unit from the front so that you
rest your index fingers against the safety locks of the
battery to release them. Push your thumbs into the rims
at the back of the sides of the battery. Then by pulling
both thumbs away from the unit you will release the
battery and push it off the guide ways.

Pushing the battery onto the powered respiratory unit:
push the battery into the guide ways on the bottom side
of the unit.
Push the battery towards the unit until both safety locks
click into the right position and safely lock the battery.

Storage
All parts of the CleanAIR
®
system must be stored at
temperatures between -10°C and 55°C with relative air
humidity inbetween 20 and 95 % Rh. Maximum storage
life in undamaged wrapping is 2 years excluding batte-
ries! During storage self-discharge of batteries occurs.
Batteries stored for long terms must be fully charged
every 6 months.

6.2.3. Spare parts and accessories

The manual for assembling spare parts and acces-so-
ries is presented in the Picture appendix in the chapter
called Accessories.

Possible faults

In case of any fault, a sudden decrease or increase of
air supply when the user is in a contaminated working
area, it is vital to leave the place and to check the fo-
llowing:
• Whether the unit is correctly assembled.
• Battery charging.
• The function of the battery charger.
• Filter clogging.
• Whether the air hose is not damaged. It is necessary
to make sure that the air hose does not get caught
on protruding objects and that there will not originate
a rupture during work.
• Whether the sealing of the safety hood is all right.
• In case of working time reduction at one charging it
is necessary to replace the battery.
Recommendation
Recharge the battery.
(if the problem outlasts, check the

Return to the producer for repairing.
Check and remove the possible block.
Check all sealing elements and joints, make
sure the hose is not damaged and without
leakage.
Charge the battery.

Replace the filter.

9.
Warranty
The Quality Warranty ensures you will receive a repla-
cement if a product presents any manufacturing or
material defects within 12 months from the date of
purchase. For batteries it is 6 months from the date of
purchase. The warranty claim must be lodged at sales
organization. At the same time the proof of purchase
must be handed in ( invoice or certificate of delivery).

The warranty can be acknowledged only if no inter-
-ventions into the powered respiratory unit and char-
-ger have been made. The warranty does not cover
defects caused by the late replacement of the filter or
by using a filter which was damaged by cleaning or by
filter blow-through.
