4. Insert supply side tubing (1/4" copper or plastic tube) into the
end of filter, on the supply side . Push firmly until the tubing
bottoms out.
5. Turn the water supply on. Hold the filter over a bucket and
flush with 5 gallons of water or until water runs clear. TURN
THE WATER OFF.
6. Repeat step 4 on the refrigerator side, of the filter, making
sure you bottom out the tubing.
7. Turn the water supply back on and check for any leaks.

tional, maintenance and replacement requirements must be fol-
lowed for this unit to perform as sold.
Replacement
1. Turn off the cold water supply to the filter.
2. Remove the tubing from the ends of the unit. See Figure 2.

ring and pull
the tubing out.
3. Cut (trim) a short section off of the end of the poly tubing
that was previously in the old faucet stem.
NOTICE: Tubing may wear over time. Replace if worn.
4. Install the new filter. Refer to steps 4 through 7 under
"Installation".
NOTICE: Be sure unit is installed in the direction as shown in
Figure 1.
