Cleaning and disinfecting
CAUTION
Potential damage to component parts!
► For cleaning and disinfecting only apply the described procedures and use
the specified cleaning agents and disinfectants. Other agents and
procedures, dosages and exposure times can damage component parts.
CAUTION
Health hazard!
The agents are harmful to health if they come into direct contact with eyes or
skin.
► Wear goggles and protective gloves when working with these agents.
1. Remove textiles (head cover with face cuff and sweatband).
2. Prepare a cleaning solution containing water and a cleaning agent.
3. Clean textiles with cleaning solution.

4. To disinfect textiles:
a. Prepare a disinfectant bath of water and a disinfecting agent.
Replace batteries (see
figure G on page 2).
b. Place textiles in the disinfectant solution.
5. Carefully rinse textiles under running water.
