PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
CARRYING THE HEDGE TRIMMER
Always put the blade bar shield before carrying the hedge trimmer.
Hold the hedge trimmer by the front handle while carrying. Do
not carry the tool when holding the main handle. If several cutting
operations are to be made, switch off the hedge trimmer with the
ignition switch between consecutive tasks.
FILLING THE FUEL TANK
When filling the fuel, follow these rules:
• Engine must not be running.
• You must not spill the fuel.
Accordingly to the below table, mix petrol (lead-free with octane
number 95) with good quality engine oil for two stroke engines.

• Unscrew the fuel filler plug (11).
• Pour in previously prepared fuel blend (max. 600 ml).
• Screw fuel filler plug (11) back on.
Most problems with combustion engines result directly or
indirectly from fuel used. You must not use oil designed for four-
stroke engines to prepare fuel blend.
ADJUSTABLE MAIN HANDLE
Before starting operation you can adjust the main handle (8) to the
position most comfortable for the task. The handle can be set up in 3
positions by turning it 90° left or right from the basic position (fig. A).
When changing the main handle (8) position, the throttle lever (7)
cannot be pressed.
• Move the main handle lock button (9) down (fig. B).
• Turn the main handle to desired position and release pressure on
the main handle lock button (9).
• The main handle automatically locks in desired position.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
STARTING THE ENGINE
The hedge trimmer is equipped with a lock that protects from
accidental pressing the throttle lever. The blade bar starts moving
when the engine is started.
• Remove the shields (16) from the blade bar (1) (fig. C).
• Check fuel level in the fuel tank.
• Use the membrane pump a few times (12) to pump the fuel, until
it is visible in the fuel line (fig. D).
• If the engine is cold, shift the choke lever (13) to the front to CLOSE
position (fig. E).
• Set the ignition switch (5) to switched on position "I" (fig. F).
• Place the trimmer on stable ground.
• While holding the hedge trimmer pressed against ground, pull the
starter line (4). First slowly so to hear the clutch gears, then pull it
strongly (fig. G).
• After start up press the throttle lever lock (6) and slightly press the
throttle lever (7) (fig. H).
• Allow the engine to heat up with throttle lever (7) slightly pressed.
• Set the choke lever (13) back to „OPEN" position.
• Make a cut.
In case the engine does not start at the first try, reposition the
choke lever (13) halfway and pull the starter line again.
After few failed attempts pump fuel with the membrane pump (12)
and try again.
Hold the hedge trimmer with both hands during operation. Do
not start the engine while holding the hedge trimmer in hands.
During start up the hedge trimmer must rest on ground and be
held firmly. Make sure the blade bar does not touch any object. Do
not make any cuts with choke lever in „CLOSE" position.
STOPPING THE ENGINE
• Release the throttle lever (7) and allow the engine to run idle for
a few minutes.
• Set the ignition switch (5) to off position ‚O' .
ADJUSTMENT OF CARBURETTOR
The carburettor in this device is factory set, however it may require
precise adjustment when operating conditions change. Before
starting to adjust the carburettor ensure new air filter and fuel filter
are installed and tank is filled with appropriate fuel blend.
The adjustment screw (18) is used to set the mixture composition,
and the adjustment screw (17) is used to set up idle speed.
• Screw the fuel mixture adjustment screw (18) in as far as it goes
(do not overtighten), and then loosen by 21/2 turns.
• Start up the engine and allow it to heat up while holding throttle
lever (7) pressed in half.
