If the safety mechanism in the rechargeable battery oxidizes, the
battery can be overcharged, causing overheating, ignition, and/or
explosion.
► Avoid water or moisture getting into the rechargeable battery.

If the safety mechanism of the rechargeable battery is damaged, the
battery can be overcharged and this can lead to an unintentional
chemical reaction. There is a potential risk of the rechargeable battery
overheating, igniting, and/or exploding.
► Do not drop the rechargeable battery or subject it to strong
impacts.
WARNING
Risk of overheating, ignition, and/or explosion!
Using a damaged or swollen rechargeable battery can cause the
battery to overheat, ignite, and/or explode.
► Do not use the rechargeable battery if it is damaged or swollen or
the exterior is damaged due to impacts.

4.1.2 Charging the Rechargeable Battery

1. Open the interface cover.
2. Connect the USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the device and a
USB power supply (e.g., charger).
✓ The rechargeable battery will charge.
WARNING
Risk of overheating, ignition, and/or explosion!
Using the wrong charger could cause the rechargeable battery to
overheat, ignite, and/or explode.
► Only use the Dräger charger specified in the order list to charge
the rechargeable battery.
